Rewards of Membership

·         An opportunity to share your experience, knowledge, and time in serving our community.

·         A chance to get away from the hustle and bustle of the day to relax, see friends, and listen to an interesting speaker.

·         Opportunities for business and community networking.

·         An opportunity to receive “expert advice” from fellow members who represent a wide spectrum of businesses, professions, trades, and backgrounds.


Membership Commitment

·         Though there are no attendance requirements, members are encouraged to attend meetings on a regular basis and to participate in club service projects.

·         Dues are set at $115 quarterly. This includes breakfast, international and club fees, international and district publications and liability insurance coverage.


Club Structure

·         The club officers manage the club’s business.

·         The board meets the first Thursday of the month at 7am in Baker Street Restaurant


Meeting Protocol

·         The meeting is opened with the ringing of the Kiwanis bell, the Pledge of Allegiance, and an invocation.

·         Meetings are social, informative, and educational.


How Do You Join Kiwanis


·         Your sponsor invites you to attend a meeting or two as the club’s guest. This gives you the opportunity to meet members and ask questions about the club.

·         After a membership form is completed, the board of directors reviews it for approval.

New-Member Induction Ceremony

  • A fellow Kiwanian will induct you after a simple introduction by your sponsor.
  • You are presented with your lapel pin.
